Students and their parents often have questions about how things are going in driving school or after getting their driving licence. On this page we have put together some answers to the most common questions.

You can start taking the moped and moped license course at the age of 14,5 and you can take the theory test 1 month before you turn 15.
You can legally start driving lessons when you turn 15.
People with a passenger car license can start driving school 2 years before they turn 18. However, the driving school recommends that you start your B course at the earliest 2-3 months before turning 18.
You can take the theory test 1 month before your 18th birthday and the driving test when you turn 18.
You can start the course right away after you get the email with login information. Registrations are approved during our regular office hours.
After you have logged in to Drima with your credentials, you will find a suggested to-do list on the frontpage of Drima. We recommend that you follow this list.

Payment in installments is also possible via driving school, but the course fee can only be divided into two installments, and driving lessons will only begin once the course fee has been paid in full.
You can start the RTK-course right at the beginning of your programme and make use of the theory lessons. We recommend that you do the driving lessons only after you reach the point where your driving is mostly independent.
You can schedule your driving lessons directly with your teacher or from your local Easy Driver office. You can find your teachers contact information on Drima or by calling our office.
Every driving examination essentially includes a theory test, the format of which varies by license category. When applying for a Passenger Car, Moped Car, or Moped license, the theory test consists of 15 questions, 50 images, and 5 risk management questions.
There is a time limit for the theory test; you have a total of 30 minutes to complete it.
Special Arrangements
If you have a diagnosed condition such as dyslexia, the theory test can be taken orally without a time limit. The certificate must be approved by Ajovarma before booking the test. Please remember to mention this at our office as soon as you start driving school.
Timing & Prerequisites
You can take the theory test one month before you reach the required age, provided you have completed the necessary theory lessons and your driving license permit is in order!

Motorcycle Licenses
Examinations for categories A1, A2, and A include a theory test, a handling test, and a driving test.
You will need to carry a photo ID with you when applying for a driving licence permit at Ajovarma and when taking theory, handling and driving tests.
Examples of photo ID include a previous driving licence, a valid passport and a government issued photo ID card.

It’s important to note that in addition to the course price, there will be additional costs from government service fees. These add up to 184 € and include the fees of your permit application, theory exam and driving test. These additional expenses are not paid at or to the driving school.

Price for a motorcycle license will vary depending on your location. The lower end of our course prices for motorcycles is around 349 €.
Please note that there will be additional expenses in getting a license. At the moment these add up to 159 € and include your permit application, handling test, and driving test. The fees are not paid at or to the driving school, but we will help you in handling them correctly.

Please note that the moped car driving test is challenging. If you do not have prior driving experience, the driving school recommends a minimum of 3 driving lessons before attempting the test.

When you sign up, please note that the price doesn’t include the fees paid to Ajovarma or Traficom. These will add up to 110 € and include fees for the driving license permit application, theory exam and handling test.
In Finland, everyone born after January 1st 1985 has to have an AM120 or a higher class license if they want to drive a moped. For example, a class B license includes the right to drive a moped.
The law came into effect in January 2000 when the M-class was introduced for mopeds. In January 19th of 2013, the M-class was split into two separate classes: AM120 for mopeds and AM121 for moped cars.
